Website Released
Hello,
Today we have finally released XFS3.0, over the next few weeks it will be continually updated to ensure its Fast, Stable, Efficient, and above all easy for our clients & potential clients to use.
Even tho the site has now been out for about 2 hours, i personally have already thought of more features, and plugins to come in XFS3.1.
We would love to know what you think, please let us know by leaving a comment.
Left 4 Dead 2 Servers Available
Today we have released Left 4 Dead 2 servers to our control panel.
Dedicated server customers can install this the normal way via one click installs from within our game control panel.

Website Downtime
Over the past 3 days we have had some serious website downtime.
This was due to a bad cluster within our file system, this has now been resolved and the measures we have takes to ensure this does not happen again are:
- Backups to a local network
- daily backups to a server located externally from our web servers rack
This will ensure this downtime will never occur again.
On behalf of xfileservers, and myself i apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
No customer services were affected by this downtime.

Left 4 Dead server update
Today steam have released, a required update for Left 4 Dead.
The update fixes:
- Fixed a crash related to a Crash Course achievement
- Fixed an issue were bots and computer controlled special infected were being reported via “View Game Info”
- Added Team Versus 4 on 4 competitive matchmaking
Linux:
- Add warning if +map is not specified on the command line
- Steam is located by searching .., . and $PATH
- Added -steambin option to specify location steam, overrides search
- Added -steamverify option to add -verify_all when updating with steam

Left 4 Dead Public demo Live
Today the public version of the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo has been released by valve.
We have multipile Left 4 Dead 2 demo servers up, servers can also be ordered now from only £6.80 per month, customers who have ordered demo servers will be upgraded automatically upon full release.
XFS 3.0 Release date
Today we have been discussing what would be the best date to release XFS3.0.
XFS3.0 has the latest scripting technology, making it more accessible to users, to find what you want with less hassle.
Accompanying the new release of the site, will be ground breaking price drops these include:
- Game servers
- Web-hosting
- Dedicated servers
- Co-location
- Clan deals
The final release date has yet to be decided, but with any luck its currently set for next week.
Also happening next week, we have a data center visit planned; there should be no downtime experienced as we are installing new equipment and not taking the network offline.
8 Days to go
Only 8 days to go till MW2 ( Modern Warfare 2 ) is released, already alot of community, competitive clans are dissapointed due to the lack of dedicated server files.
One of IW’s ideas was to ” cut down on piracy “, this is only one thory why there are no dedicated servers. Yet this is not stopping the current xbox piracy, where people 8 days before the official release date are playing MW2.
Just yesterday, IW ( infanity Ward ) pulled a video from Youtube which showed ” grenade spam “.

Even tho IW is getting alot of negitivity about MW2 for the PC, is it reallyi going to be that bad?

Call Of Duty World At War 1.7 Patch
Today Treyarch have announced a new up and coming patch for Call Of Duty World At War.
A release date hasent been set just yet, but some of the up and coming features/bug fixes include:
- Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
- Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
- Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
A map pack hasent been listed, but there is however talk about it on Treyarchs CODWAW forums:

After the announcement that MW2 wont have dedicated servers, will treyarch support CODWAW for more years to come, the forums are buzzing with patch, map requests.
