A little about BlueSquare
The BlueSquare data centre boasts fully redundant power and air handling systems, including N+1 close control down flow units, N+1 UPS power systems and standby diesel generator with sufficient fuel for 48 hours continuous operation, with local 4 hour refuelling contracts for non-stop usage.
The facility itself is secured by a three-metre manned and CCTV-covered perimeter fence, with photo recognition for each person entering the building. Security includes a 4-layer system, ensuring personnel who have entered the reception area can not travel any further without being identified by the proximity PAC-TAG reader system. Web-based and digitally recorded CCTV capture all persons entering and leaving the data floor including a recording of any equipment bought to, or removed from site.
